I hold the following truths (among others) to be self-evident
Value is generated by continuously integrating work from different functions - not by just adding it
End-2-end value stream collaboration wins - and yes, the market / suppliers are a 'department' too
Quality comes from collaborating early and often within and between teams - so organizational flexibility matters
Defying (invisible) org boundaries is necessary - not doing so leads to divergence, then politics, then bureaucracy, then mediocracy
Focus comes from a deep understanding of both what's necessary and sufficient to build
A small number of clear KPIs gives guidance on what's necessary
Detailed real-world evidence and customer orientation (i.e. data) give guidance on what's sufficient
Therefore, descoping according to your goals is always the first step when creating something

Greatness is the result of process: Creating something sooner, getting feedback faster and making improvements earlier. Therefore: process focus >> initial result
Every action creates information, which enables adaption and improvement through continuous repetition
Taking calculated risks wins - you maximize learning when you trade off certainty with timeliness
When you make something that is supposed to get better at scale, make sure that your 'production line' approach is easy to change

High leverage activities are gifts that keep on giving. So cherish and champion them
Try to minimise the input required in order to get a task done: upskilling, proficiency, automation
Try to maximise the long-term impact you have on people: teaching, coaching, onboarding, collaborating
Try to maximise the number of people that you influence with your activity: trainings, information seeking/sharing, deciding
